2012, I am living in Spain for over 8 years in the provence of Murcia. Before I moved to Spain I lived in Kent in the United Kingdom. I was born and grew up in the Netherlands. At first I painted with watercolours, now I use acrylics and that seems to be a good choice for me. Acrylic is more versatile than watercolour and fits better with my style especially because in acrylics you can work very well with spatulas, which I like doing. At the moment I like to paint on large canvasses or on wood. My favourite subjects are street scenes, plazas and boats. Parasols and umbrellas always attract me. I also like to add people and animals in my paintings.

I am a member of a Spanish art group where two professional artists support us.

Travelling through Europe gives me my main inspirations.

I have exhibited in the UK and in Spain. Some of my paintings are exhibited in local businesses and galleries.One of my paintings was featured on the front page of "Paint" the newsletter of the Society for all Artists in the UK and included an extensive interview in that magazine.
